Get to know Aurora’s inspiration story
After 7 years training and dancing for Brazil, she joined The Washington Ballet, in the United States. The countless hours in the classroom continued, but achievements also began to come. She danced leading roles, worked with several renowned choreographers and was shaping the “Ballerina Aurora”.
Another 6 years went by and, from Washington, she went to Berlin, Germany. Another adaptation phase. But inside the studio and on stage, the language is the same: dance, ballet and art. Ballet turned her into a stronger, more human woman.
To listen to the music and express herself, live different characters, visit and live in different countries, speak other languages, share the stages with incredible artists and, above all, touch the audience and make them dream through her movements are the fulfilment of a dream.
Her first memories are dancing. It's as if ballet and dance were with her, from the moment of her birth. From a very young age, Aurora used to go to the ballet school accompanying her mother - ballet teacher and her biggest inspiration. There, Aurora saw the older dancers rehearsing and started, herself, to twirl in the hallways. She was born in this world and dancing was a natural thing for her to do. Aurora decided then, to continue on this path.
In addition to dancing in ballet classes, Aurora danced at home while watching world ballet stars dancing the classics. Swan Lake and Don Quixote were her favorite ballets. Sylvie Guillem, Nina Ananiashvili, Cynthia Harvey became the source of inspiration. Ah, how she admired them. She dreamed of getting there where they were, of following her mother's footsteps and dancing professionally.

At 10 years old, the only question she had was how to get there, how to make it, and where are the opportunities to do so. She then learned that the Bolshoi Ballet was opening in Brazil. Without thinking twice, she auditioned and was accepted into the school. This was the beginning of her professional training with arduous training, classes, rehearsals, and performances.
